ACS Midwest Regional Meeting 2022 (MWRM)

The local Iowa Section will be hosting the 2022 Midwest Regional Meeting for the American Chemical Society in Iowa City, IA on October 19-21, 2022.  The theme for the meeting is “Sustainable Chemistry: Leading Through Change” and will feature plenary speakers, exciting technical sessions, poster sessions, social events, vendor expo, and networking opportunities. The Iocal Iowa Section will be co-hosting events with the Midwest Section of the American Scientific Glassblowers Society to bring together two great technical communities.  In addition, there will be chemistry education workshops for high school teachers and events with the local Younger Chemists Committee. It is a great opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to present their research and get to know the Midwest chemistry community.
