2025 Central Regional Meeting (CERM)
The 2025 Central Regional Meeting (CERM) of the American Chemical Society (ACS) will be hosted by the Midland Local Section (*joint with the long-standing Midland Local Fall Scientific Meeting). This special joint event, themed “Chemistry Reconnected: Empowering Scientists in a Disconnected World,” highlights the importance of collaboration, innovation, and community in the chemical sciences.
CERM 2025 will feature two days of dynamic programming, including invited speaker sessions, engaging submitted poster presentations, and opportunities to connect with chemists from academia, industry, and government. Poster sessions will take place in the afternoons on both days, with abstracts accepted only for posters and grouped by topic to foster meaningful scientific exchange while all technical talks are by invite.
Thanks to generous support from the ACS Midland Local Section and the ACS Central Region Board, registration is free for all attendees. Some special events and workshops will be ticketed and require a separate registration fee.
Join us at Central Michigan University this October to share your work, expand your network, and celebrate the power of chemistry to reconnect and inspire.
