This virtual, live, 90-minute workshop will answer common questions, provide expert insights, and help participants explore the career options available to chemists interested in working in academia.
The presentation will help answer the following questions:
- Why academia? Is it right for me?
- What types of jobs are available in higher education?
- How do I navigate the job search process?
- How do I make myself an (or even more) attractive candidate for a position?
The first hour of the workshop will feature a presentation by an ACS Career Consultant, while the last 30 minutes will be a dedicated Q&A session between participants and the facilitator.
